Brief Description of the Production Process
1. Crushing & air classification – Jaw crusher to <5mm, then jet mill with turbo classifier to precisely isolate the 0–0.2mm fraction (no metallic contamination).
2. Chemical de-ashing – HCl + HF leaching (or alkali-acid route) removes silicates and metal oxides, cutting ash to ≤0.4% and raising carbon to ≥99%.
3. High-temperature purification – Furnace treatment at 2500–3000°C under argon vaporises residual impurities (B, V, Zn) and repairs crystal defects, achieving ≥99.9% carbon.
Blending & final screening – Homogenised in a double-cone mixer, then ultrasonically screened for consistent size and tap density.
4. Quality release – Each lot is checked by laser diffraction (particle size), ICP-MS (trace metals), and infrared C/S analysers (carbon & sulphur).
All operations run in closed, clean systems. The final powder offers high crystallinity, low ash, low sulphur, and excellent conductivity/lubricity.
