Product Introduction
Carbon raiser are a large category that includes calcined petroleum coke (CPC), graphite petroleum coke (GPC), calcined anthracite coal (CAC) and natural graphite. Due to the high price of natural graphite, it is not suitable for steel making or casting, so calcined petroleum coke, graphite petroleum coke and calcined coal are more suitable for the current steel making and casting process.
Calcined petroleum coke is produced at a temperature of about 1500℃ in a forging furnace, and the carbon content is about 98.5%. It is used as a carbon additive in the metallurgical industry.
Graphitized petroleum coke is a finished product after graphitisation, which is obtained by calcining low-sulfur coke in a graphitising furnace. Graphitized petroleum coke is a well decarburised coke with low nitrogen characteristics.
