Product Introduction

 

High-power graphite electrode HP is a high-temperature resistant graphite conductive material made of petroleum coke and asphalt coke as aggregates and coal tar as binder, through raw material calcination, crushing and grinding, batching, kneading, molding, roasting, impregnation, graphitization and mechanical processing. It is mainly used to conduct current in the process of electric furnace steelmaking to melt scrap iron or other raw materials in the blast furnace, and then produce steel and other metal products.

Application

High-power graphite electrode HP is mainly used in high-power electric arc furnaces as a conductive material. During the steelmaking process, the electrode generates high temperature through arc discharge to melt the charge. Graphite electrodes of different diameters are selected according to the capacity of the electric arc furnace. In addition, graphite electrodes are also used in other metallurgical equipment such as mining electric furnaces and resistance furnaces.
