Product Introduction
Graphite electrode processing leftovers and high-temperature graphitized calcined waste are used to make high-carbon graphite electrode powder, a carbonaceous substance. It is produced using procedures including screening, pulverizing, and crushing. High carbon content, low nitrogen and sulfur levels, low electrical resistivity, and low ash content are characteristics of the product.
Method of Production
The following steps are mostly involved in the manufacturing of high-carbon graphite electrode powder:
- 1. Preparation and Pre-treatment of Raw Materials
The raw materials are high-temperature graphitized calcined trash and debris from graphite electrode production. To get rid of contaminants and any inferior parts, the materials are first sorted and cleansed.
- 2. Crushing and Coarse Crushing
Coarse crushing is applied to large raw material bits. In order to prepare the material for the next stage of pulverization, crushing equipment lowers the material to an appropriate lump size.
- 3. Grinding and Pulverization
A Raymond mill or other equipment is used to finely grind the crushed material. Powder products with certain particle size requirements are created by adjusting the parameters of the grinding process.
- 4. Classification and Screening
Vibrating screening machine is used to classify the ground powder. To guarantee product homogeneity, it is carefully sorted in accordance with customer-specified particle size criteria.
- 5. Magnetic Separation to Eliminate Impurities
To further improve product purity, magnetic separation is used to extract magnetic contaminants from the powder.
- 6. Packaging and Testing
After passing physicochemical testing, finished goods are packed and stored in accordance with regulations.
