Production Process
The production of fully graphitized petroleum coke involves multiple precise processes, with core steps including:
Raw Material Pretreatment: High-quality calcined petroleum coke is used as raw material to ensure purity.
High-Temperature Graphitization: The pretreated raw material is placed in a graphitization furnace and calcined at 2800℃-3000℃ for an extended period, causing carbon atoms to rearrange and form a dense graphite structure. This process significantly reduces impurity content (such as sulfur and nitrogen) and improves electrical conductivity and thermal stability.
Crushing and Screening: After cooling, the graphitized lumps are crushed to the target particle size (0.5-2mm) and then subjected to multi-stage screening to ensure uniform particle size.
Quality Inspection and Packaging: The finished product undergoes chemical composition (such as fixed carbon and sulfur content) and physical property (such as particle size distribution and water absorption rate) testing. After passing the tests, it is stored in moisture-proof packaging (such as 25kg bags or ton bags).
