Product Introduction
Graphite petroleum coke recarburizer is a carbonaceous material made from petroleum coke through a high-temperature graphitization process (2500-3000°C). Its core component is crystalline carbon (92-98%). It has a grayish-black or black appearance with a metallic luster and a porous interior. Its hardness and brittleness are moderate, allowing it to scratch on paper. Through the graphitization process, the carbon atoms are formed into an ordered layered structure, significantly improving its purity and stability. It is a key auxiliary material in metallurgy, casting, and high-end manufacturing.
Applications
1. Automotive Casting:
Used in the production of key components such as engine blocks, cylinder heads, and crankshafts, it significantly reduces the porosity defect rate (from 5% to 0.8%) and improves product quality.
2. Metallurgical Industry:
In electric arc furnace steelmaking, a 0.1-0.3% addition adjusts the carbon content of molten steel, shortens smelting time, and reduces oxygen content (for example, reducing the oxygen content of bearing steel from 15ppm to 8ppm).
3. Graphite Product Production:
Manufacturing large cathode blocks, carbon electrodes, graphitized electrodes, and high-performance electrode paste, replacing some graphite scrap and reducing raw material costs.
4. Other Industries:
Chemical Industry (reducing agents, refractory materials), Machinery Industry (lubricants), Electrical Industry (carbon brushes), Battery Industry (electrodes), Fertilizer Industry (catalysts), etc.
