Production Process
Raw Material Selection: High-purity petroleum coke is used as raw material, requiring low sulfur, low ash, and low volatile matter content to ensure high carbon content and low impurities in the final product.
Calcination Treatment: Petroleum coke is calcined in a rotary kiln or vertical kiln at 1200-1400℃ to remove volatiles and moisture, forming a porous carbon skeleton and increasing carbon purity to over 90%.
Graphitization Treatment: Graphitization is carried out at a high temperature of 2500-3500℃ using an electric arc furnace or Atchison furnace. Carbon atoms rearrange to form a layered graphite structure, giving the product high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, and low resistivity.
Crushing and Screening: The graphitized product is crushed and classified by a vibrating screen to obtain particles with a diameter of 0-5mm, meeting different industrial needs (such as 1-5mm, 0.2-1mm, etc.).
Packaging: Packaging is done according to customer requirements (such as 25kg bags or ton bags) to ensure safe transportation and storage.
