Graphitized petroleum coke (GPC) is a product obtained by placing high-quality petroleum coke in a graphitization furnace and undergoing a graphitization process. It boasts a high carbon content (fixed carbon of at least 98.5%) and a low sulfur content (sulfur of no more than 0.03%). Furthermore, the product boasts an extremely low ash, moisture, and volatile content, ensuring optimal performance. Graphitized petroleum coke typically exhibits a black-gray granular appearance and can be supplied in a range of particle sizes to suit customer specifications.

Electrode manufacturing: Due to its excellent conductivity and thermal stability, graphitized petroleum coke is an ideal raw material for manufacturing large cathode blocks, large carbon electrodes, large graphitized electrodes and high-performance electrode pastes.

Foundry industry: In the casting process, graphitized petroleum coke can be used as a carburizer to increase the carbon content of cast iron and improve its casting properties and mechanical properties. In addition, it can also be used to manufacture casting materials for non-ferrous metals such as aluminum alloys.

Other applications: Graphitized petroleum coke can also be used to manufacture lithium-ion battery negative electrode materials, fuel cells and other new energy fields.
