Product Introduction
2-6mm graphitized petroleum coke is a petroleum coke product processed by high-temperature graphitization, with high fixed carbon content (more than 98.5%), low sulfur (0.05%), low ash (0.5%), and low volatile matter (0.5%-1.5%). Its particles are uniform (mainly 2-6mm), with a well-developed pore structure, excellent conductivity and thermal stability. According to demand, this product can also be customized in other sizes (such as 1-5mm, 5-10mm, etc.).
Production process
Raw material selection: Low-sulfur petroleum coke produced by delayed coking process is used as raw material to ensure carbon content and purity.
Calcination and graphitization:
Calcination: Remove volatile matter at high temperature of 1800°F-3600°F (about 982°C-1982°C) to improve carbon purity.
Graphitization: Through high temperature treatment at 4500°F-5500°F (about 2482°C-3038°C), the carbon atoms are arranged in a graphite crystal structure, which enhances conductivity and thermal stability.
Screening and packaging: Particle size classification (such as 2-6mm) is carried out according to customer needs, and transported in ton bags, 25kg small bags or bulk forms.
