Product Introduction
Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) is a high-purity carbon material formed by high-temperature graphitization of petroleum coke. Products with a particle size of 5-8mm are widely used in high-temperature metallurgy, battery materials, chemical industry and other fields due to their moderate particle size. They have excellent conductivity, thermal shock resistance and chemical stability.
Production process
Raw material : Select high-quality petroleum coke (sulfur content ≤0.5%, ash content ≤0.3%)
High-temperature calcination: Calcination at 1200-1350℃ in a rotary kiln or pot furnace to remove volatiles and increase true density (≥2.08g/cm³).
Graphitization treatment: In an Acheson furnace or an internal heat series furnace, treatment at a high temperature of 2500-3000℃ forms an ordered graphitized structure, and the resistivity is reduced to 450-650μΩ·m.
Cooling and classification: Cooling under inert gas protection
Crushing and screening: After crushing and screening to a particle size range of 5-8mm.
Packaging: Detect impurities, carbon content (≥98.5%) and other indicators before packaging
