Graphite Petroleum Coke for Metallurgical Smelting is manufactured from calcined petroleum coke via high-temperature graphite. It has steady sulfur content and rapid carbon dissolution in molten steel and molten iron, delivering high carbon recovery. As a widely used recarburizer for steelmaking and ductile iron production, it raises scrap steel dosage, improves the metallographic structure of castings and minimizes defects such as pores and slag inclusions. Thanks to consistent batch quality, it is compatible with intermediate frequency furnaces, electric arc furnaces and other smelting facilities. Production Process: Made from calcined coke, byproduct of crude oil, via high-temperature graphitization crystallization followed by crushing and screening;
Product Advantages: Low sulfur content, fast melting speed and low feeding dust. It can replace part of pig iron to cut smelting cost;
Application: Steel & alloy steel smelting, grey iron, ductile iron and precision machinery casting manufacture;
