Semi Graphitized Petroleum Coke For Foundry

Semi-graphitized petroleum coke (Semi GPC or SGPC) is a high-quality carbon material, situated between raw petroleum coke and fully graphitized petroleum coke, combining the dense structure of petroleum coke with the excellent properties of graphite. Specifically, it is a product obtained by high-temperature graphitization of calcined petroleum coke. It is a black or dark gray hard solid with a metallic luster and a porous structure, consisting of granular carbon particles composed of aggregated micro-graphite crystals.

In terms of performance parameters, semi-graphitized petroleum coke typically has a fixed carbon content of not less than 98.5%, volatile matter not exceeding 0.7%, ash content not exceeding 0.8%, and sulfur content between 0.15% and 0.7%. Particle size can be provided in various specifications such as 1-3mm and 1-5mm according to customer requirements. The product is usually packaged in waterproof bulk bags to ensure quality stability during transportation and storage.
