Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) is a high-purity recarburizer specially developed for foundry production. It is produced by heating qualified petroleum coke under ultra-high temperature above 2800℃, turning its internal carbon structure into ordered graphite crystal form.

As a reliable carbon additive for molten iron, it works well in induction furnaces and cupola furnaces. It helps foundries adjust carbon content accurately, reduce casting defects and keep stable production quality. It is widely accepted for grey iron, ductile iron and other high-quality casting parts.

1.High carbon absorption rate

Graphite crystal structure enables fast dissolution in molten iron. Carbon absorption stays high and stable, less material consumption compared with ordinary calcined coke.

2. Ultra-low harmful impurities

Low sulfur, low nitrogen and low ash. It avoids pinholes, porosity and hot brittleness caused by excess sulfur and nitrogen, greatly lowering casting scrap rate.

3. Stable batch-to-batch performance

Strict raw material screening and full-process production control. Each batch keeps consistent index, so you get predictable melting result without frequent parameter adjustment.

4. Wide size options

Multiple particle sizes available, match different furnace types and feeding methods. Custom sizes are acceptable upon request.

• Best to add together with scrap steel at early melting stage for better carbon absorption.
• Match particle size with your furnace: fine size for small induction furnace; coarser size for large furnace to reduce burning loss.
• Store in dry environment, keep away from moisture. Standard packing: 1MT jumbo bag, small bag packing available.
