Graphitized Petroleum Coke (GPC) is a high-quality carbon additive made from petroleum coke through high-temperature (above 2800℃) oxygen-free graphitization. Its core structure consists of highly ordered layered graphite crystals with a carbon content exceeding 99% and extremely low levels of impurities such as sulfur and nitrogen. It exhibits excellent electrical and thermal conductivity and chemical stability. In mechanical casting, GPC acts as a carbon raiser and reducing agent, allowing for precise control of the carbon content in the molten metal and optimizing the mechanical properties and surface quality of the castings.
