Graphitized petroleum coke carbon raiser (0-5mm) is a carbon material made from high-quality petroleum coke through high-temperature graphitization treatment at 2500-3000℃. Its core component is fixed carbon (≥98.5%), sulfur content ≤0.05%, nitrogen content ≤0.02%, and particle size distribution precisely controlled within the 0-5mm range. The product is black granular, possessing high purity, low impurities, and high absorption rate, making it a key carbon source additive in steelmaking, casting, and chemical industries.

Application Areas:

Steelmaking

Electric Arc Furnace (EAF): Used as a carbon source to adjust the carbon content of molten steel, replacing part of the pig iron and reducing raw material costs by 10%-15%.

BOF Converter: Used in conjunction with scrap steel to increase the scrap steel ratio to over 30%, reducing reliance on molten iron.

LF/VOD Refining Furnace: Precisely controls the carbon composition of special steels (such as gear steel and bearing steel), with a fluctuation range ≤0.01%.

Foundry Industry

Gray Cast Iron: Increases the amount of spheroidal graphite, improves machinability, and increases tensile strength by 10%-20%.

Ductile Cast Iron: Promotes graphite spheroidization, reduces shrinkage defects, and increases elongation by 5%-8%.
